Madjestic Kasual’s ‘A Mix’ series is considered by geniuses and culture heads to be the “best” music mix series in the world. It’s considered by morons and dunces to be the “worst”. This should speak volumes.
It’s time to do ‘A Mix’, but for interviews. I ask ‘A Mix’ contributors to respond to questions. Some comply. Introducing ‘An Interview’: a new text-centric series featuring only the best artists in the world.
‘An Interview’ Number 2 is Tek lintowe.

O to equip myself with the as-yet uninvented binoculars required to peer into Tek lintowe’s resplendent mind palace from afar, without startling him. To maybe approach him when his guard’s down or he’s in repose. To enter. To cross the cortical moat and tunnel into the grounds, to strap on night vision goggles and just gaze at the abject datura-warped frescoes adorning his brainial walls. I’m sifting through his memories and auditing his fears. I’m rummaging through his neurocupboards and taking fistfuls of peanut butter and dried apricots from the larder. I’m hungry. Tek lintowe’s music cultivates an appetite for more, more, more.
More of the jawdropping heartstopper that is 2022’s best song. More sugarcrystal-bedazzled blush anthems. More good ole boy emo joints. More fucking with me. More of the world. More with Laker. More with Joeyy. More with remy. More with woody, ricky chix, Marlon Dubois and all the nice friends at Shed Theory. More with Thomas and Organ Tapes, Bug Bus Piano, aidan swank. More being credited in the description of Sam Hyde’s infamous iDubbbz shit-on. More of the mix he made for Madjestic Kasual’s ‘A Mix’ series as 800, years ago. More demented tek, more paining. More more.

olive green Russell Athletic fleece sweatshirt. size 2XL. made in China

You have to wear one brand and one brand only for the rest of your life. What brand + why?
Telfar. or some equivalent "new" startup almost-high-fashion brand. I think thatd be funny and would have the most payoff. Cause in 20 years people could ask "Man why the fuck do you only wear Telfar" and I could just tell them something all cool like "I made a deal. Its a long story. Ill tell you.... eventually"
You can assemble a 4-person supergroup. Who's in the band? What are they playing?
The-Dream, Kota Hoshino, Faye Wong, and ATB. ATB would have to learn how to sing though if he wants that spot. If he cant learn or his voice isnt cool then I would swap him out for Drake+40(they are one person). They would make whatever they wanna make. Thats hard to answer though for sure. To be honest I had to search through some saved songs to choose the latter 3 options. Itd probably be fire but Id probably get tired of their vibe after a while
What’s a song you’re scared to play out?
I dont really listen to music like that
What’s a song you wish you’d made?
Evergrace OST
Most formative show you went to?
Lil Ugly Mane in Phoenix, Arizona in 2018. It was the second show Id been to. They put a gate barricade between the 21+s and the under 21s for some reason. I was 17. I went with my girlfriend at the time. There was a DJ set and 2 opening acts before he went on. The DJ played Benny Revival which I was stoked on. The first opening act was a synth pop group and the lead singer was being mad flamboyant and hitting the notes perfect with no autotune. It was super fly. I liked it a lot in that setting but I dont think I ever went out of my way to find the band. The second opener was a local death metal band called Gatecreeper and I wasnt fw them that much. The under 21 section had a mosh pit break out and while some kid was flailing around he just straight punched my gf in the back and we werent on that timing so from there on we pretty much just hugged the stage for the rest of the show. Little Ugly Manes performance was really good. He did basically every song I was hoping he would and he was like screaming so his voice sounded crazy and raspy. He jumped from the stage into the 21+ section at a point during his performance and I got jealous cause I was like 5 bodies away behind a gate watching him get lit w everyone from the sidelines. After the show he was standing out back smoking so I talked to him for a brief minute and just told him like "Yo Im a fan I liked your part but Im so mad cause I lost my hat" and I think he was still feeling the adrenaline from performing because he took it really seriously and was he yelling and talking with his hands aggressively like "Nah fuck that! fuck that venue! go get your fucking hat man! go back in there and get that shit!" but the security never let me back in and I lost my brand new hat. It was like $90. Also outside he was standing with this really tall girl in a trench coat and she looked really mean
What’s a smell that instantly evokes memories?
Theres this certain perfume that I catch on people just in passingby sometimes. I dont know how to describe the smell. It reminds me of my friend Hannah who lived above me in this apartment complex that I used to live at when I was 8-9. We would hang out like every day and she was older and really hip so she was the first person to ever put me on to anime and a lot of music thats still my fav. I wanna say Im pretty sure it was some widespread cheap perfume because I remember us walking to the dollar store once and she picked up a boxset of perfume. It would explain why I still occasionally smell it out and about too. I need to learn about fragrances and their "notes" / make-up / whatever so I can get to the bottom of it. I havent ever really tried to find it cause I dont really know where Id start and its not like a pressing matter
You can resurrect one dead person such that we can benefit from their contribution. Who are you resurrecting?
Theodore Roosevelt 100%
You can cryogenically preserve one person such that future generations can benefit from their contribution. Who are you cryogenically preserving?
I thought really hard but honestly no one comes to mind besides my friends and Im not about to go Google search "public figures" or something to find an answer. I was gonna say Michael Jackson but thats too edgy and I already gave too many non serious answers

Wedding song?
Eulogy song?
Thats really messed up and sad I dont want to die
Celeb crush?
I liked Julia Garner in that show Ozark. Paris Hilton is a legend though too. Whoever it was that played the heroine in Breaking Bad. Im just thinking about TV show characters
Who’s playing you in your biopic?
Vincent Gallo. He'll direct it too. Hed probably make me seem really lame like a angsty teen but in a good way
Goated music vid?
The first one that comes to mind is Lil shine - relax/stop. I remember watching it and being hypnotized at how ridiculous the fast cuts were and how smoothly it was shot. Shout out to Goldbloom. He stayed at my/my roommates apartment for a few days to do some video work for some friends and I didnt even know he was the one who created it until he had left and someone told me after. Its probably not the best video ever period though realistically. in terms of how much of a spectacle it is.Theres a lot of other vids that come to mind. Like dozens. With high budgets and choreography and such. But that one still comes to mind first so thats gotta be worth something if they can leave that much of an impression with a street vid. The whole video is just Shine like standing outside. And then sitting in a chair. It's lit
3 items you want to be buried with for use in the afterlife.
Computer
Something people think is good that’s actually fucking shit?
Repressing emotions and not instinctively acting on things that bother you as they are happening. Acting like somethings chill for the sake of the vibe in that moment when really its not chill to you somewhere deep down. Speak your mind shawty
